A Sunglass umbrella at golden hour, the sun visible through the tinted canopy above an ocean view

Shade you can see through.

Golden-hour light at noon, 99% of the UV gone, and a canopy that still looks new in eight years.

What it is

Shade you can see through.

A deck umbrella that’s see-through but 90% tinted — exactly what the name Sunglass® suggests. It gives you protective shade, lets in great light for photos, and lasts 8 to 15 years.

Golden hour

at noon. The tint warms harsh midday light and cuts the heat with it.

99% UV

blocked, while the sky stays visible through the 90% tint.

8–15 years

expected life. Most patio umbrellas get replaced every year or two.

It won’t fade

Proprietary aliphatic TPU polymer, heat-welded, on a proven frame.

The same material makes shade sails, awnings, and pavilions — a UV-free golden-hour zone at any size.

Who it’s for

Same umbrella. Three ways to buy.

Restaurants & hospitality

You know how the world looks through your favourite sunglasses. This does that for a whole table, and nobody has to wear anything. You pay for every square foot of that patio — then cover it with shade that makes guests ask to sit inside. Sunglass keeps the space light and warm enough to use most of the year, and every plate that leaves the kitchen gets photographed in better light.

Care

Rinse every 2–6 weeks depending on conditions — a garden hose or portable rinse unit is enough.

For stuck-on grime, loosen with a microfibre RV brush on a telescoping handle, then spray-rinse. For a deep clean, wet with a mild dish-soap solution, rinse, and wipe dry with a microfibre towel — easiest with the umbrella lifted out of its base and laid on its side.

No solvents, no pressure washing, no abrasive pads.

The warranty

5-year limited warranty on the canopy.

Covered against UV degradation, fading, loss of transparency, and seam failure — the things that make an ordinary umbrella look tired by year two. Frame per manufacturer’s terms. Repair or replacement at our discretion.
